In 1998, Keya was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia to provide Information Technology (IT), cybersecurity and information assurance, operational support, and advisory services to Federal Government departments and agencies. From the beginning, the company’s founder Seble Dejene emphasized a strong focus on achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Her belief was that the company’s future depended on happy customer and repeat business.

Since Keya’s founding the company has grown into a diverse team of technical experts and highly experienced professionals dedicated to supporting the IT and cybersecurity initiatives of the Department of Defense and other federal agencies. All of current staff hold active Secret or higher security clearances.

Keya has evolved over the past fifteen years, remaining focused on assisting customers in the accomplishment of their mission, improving operational efficiency, and reducing operating costs. We have established a record of delivering as promised and delivering on time and within budget.

Keya was accepted into the Reston Chamber of Commerce incubator program in 2001 and graduated in 2003. In 2001, Keya was certified by the Small Business Administration as a 8(a) small disadvantaged business graduating in 2010.
